The 'New' Connection Point
We first ran The Connection Point at the Business North West 2009 exhibition (pictured above) and connected well in excess of 1000 business people in just 2 days!
Due to so much positive feedback it was decided to
also run it at our events. It appeared for the very first time on the
19th November 2009 and has connected 1000's more business people ever
since!
So Why Is It New Now Then?
Up until August 2011 your name, company name and line of business were pre-printed on a form on The Connection Point board so others could staple their business cards to your form to connect with you.
This has been changed so that you now collect a blank form on arrival at an event, staple your business card to the top and write underneath any specific requests you have.
For example, you may be looking:
- For connections within a certain line of business or industry.
- To connect with a specific named company.
- For other companies to collaborate with.
- To resolve a problem you have with your business.
- For a certain service provider or product.
Once you have written your request/s in the space provided, attach your form to The Connection Point board so that others can staple their business cards to it as a request to connect with you.
Collect your form as you leave so after the event you can contact those who have requested to connect with you.
