Look Beyond The Room
At Simply Networking we encourage people to ‘look beyond the room’ at events. Whilst lots of business gets passed directly between those attending events, it also gets passed to and from people we know away from events. Here’s a great example:
We recently hosted one of your events at the Britannia Country House Hotel. Not only did the event provide some great exposure for our hotel but it also helped my husband’s business, who was not even present at the event!
My husband runs Ltest School of Motoring and had been looking for a company to help re-launch and take the business in a different direction. He had already had several unsuccessful meetings in this respect.
I met Manuel de Costa from Manchester Web Solutions at your networking event at our hotel and introduced him to my husband. They have since had a very successful meeting and signed contracts for Manuel’s company to do the work.
Not bad considering my husband didn’t even attend the event!
