One of the best moves we have made recently has been to instruct a couple of PR companies to raise our profile (and it doesn't cost as much as you might think.)
In the true style of networking, we met Rob Baker from Artisan Marketing Communications (who does our PR for Manchester/Liverpool) and Alison Bishop from Ali Bishop PR and Marketing (who covers Leeds for us) at networking events and they now do all our PR.
Within 3 weeks of instructing them, the South Manchester Reporter and The Magazine have attended and covered our events not to mention all the following coverage......
